Thank You Sue Matson
Sue Matson has stepped down as chairperson of the Youth Commission. We wish to thank her for her excellent guidance and ideas, plus her rubber gavel to keep us on our toes. We’re happy to say, that although Sue doesn’t want the chair position, she has agreed to stay on the board. The Town Board has appointed Barbara Zaccai as new chair. Welcome Barbara. We will also miss Lisa Carbone from the board. She was a great asset. Thank you Lisa. Good luck with your new ventures.

Pass it on, “Tuesday is  Seniors Day.”
Come and join the Rochester Senior Group, as they have a lot of fun and laughs while accomplishing worthwhile tasks from those in the military to local people and groups that are in need. They meet every Tuesday morning at 10:30, followed by (optional) Yoga at Noon, and following yoga, they all go for lunch at a local eatery.
An added note: The Rochester Senior Group is having a Tea & Crumpets event on March 30, at 10:30 AM for the girls of Troop 187 for all the nice things they have made for them for every event they have had for several years now. For example at the recent Valentine Breakfast the girls made pretty little packages for each of the seniors that included tea bags, candy, hand creams, rose pedals and more. Their leader is Tammy Avery.

Little Ones Learning Center is open three days a week – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday 10:00 AM – Noon. This valuable community resource is dedicated to promoting early literacy and book lending for children and their families in the Rondout Valley area. Please support them. Call: 626-4112.
