Jennie Bell First Annual Pie Festival Talent Show Results

There was so much talent brimming over at the October 1 Town Of Rochester’s Youth Commission Talent Show held during at the Kerhonkson/Accord Chamber Of Commerce’s First Annual Jennie Bell Pie Festival at Kelder’s Farm that Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney would have realized stiff competition in the hometown event.
We appreciated the $500 prize money was underwritten by Kerhonkson Key Bank, and so did our winners.

The talented winners were:
First Prizewinner: Joshua Dewoody, guitarist, age 15 played the National Anthem, and an original song he composed on an electric guitar.

Second Prizewinner: Daniel Vogel, magician age 15.  Daniel has been performing since he was seven years old, and had the crowd saying, “How did he do that?”

Third Prizewinner: Nicholas Knapp, also 15 did a famous comedy monologue.

Honorable Mentions: went to Jordan Greenough age 8 for his Chinese diablo spinning tops routine and Kristin Chipman, age 16 for singing “Hold On,” about teenage suicide.

Other outstanding performers were:

Matt Santiago guitarist, age 14, and drummer, Tyler Jewett age 15. The phenomenal pair had the crowd on their feet and dancing to the music.

Maria Cucuci age 10 singing A-coppella,  “Proud To Be In The USA,” made us proud of her and her musical gift.

Danielle Vaughan, age 8 showed she could expertly twirl hula-hoops till the cows come home.
