The Town of Rochester Town Board has announced a waiver of the permit fee for new Indoor Wood/Pellet Stove applications effective August 8, 2008 until April 30, 2009.
Permits must still be applied for with the Code Enforcement Office but the fee to apply will be waived during this period.
Supervisor Chipman especially encourages any resident who has a pre-existing stove without permit to apply for safety reasons.
