Meeting Notes
The meeting began at 7:00 PM at Town Hall.

Chair David O’Halloran opened the meeting.
Announcements:
FOIL request for minutes of meetings received from law firm representing Mombaccus Excavating. Content was summarized and discussed. David O’Halloran and Town Clerk both sent response that no such records exist and directing them to the website for copies of our meeting notes.
Meeting dates set for Sept. 8 & 22, and Oct. 6 & 20
Discussion:
Map discussion began with revisiting Accord Hamlet area (particularly the 3 large parcels). After discussion all remains as agreed previously.
Map discussion continued with looking at the R-1 districts on the draft map.
§Pataukunk area reviewed (Samsonville Rd.) and area further up Samsonville Rd. reviewed. Small additions made.
§Queens Highway area addressed next. Brenda Striano informed the group that part of the area contains a subdivision which had approval revoked in 1980’s. Group agreed further information was needed and will revisit this area later.
§Mettacahonts area considered next. Area formerly made Hamlet by previous Task Force converted to R-1. Other small additions made.
§Alligerville area Hamlet converted to R-1. One large parcel changed to R-2 from R-1.
§Route 44/55 area changed to R-1.
Group then looked at Route 209 corridor.
§Several changes made with a number of properties becoming AB-3 but a dividing line needs to be established as to how deep from Route 209 this will be. Topographic maps to be reviewed to determine the natural “drop-off” down to the Rondout Creek to accomplish this.
§Business zoned property next to Mettacahonts Rd. depth was decreased.
Work was completed from Kerhonkson to Lucas Turnpike along Route 209. To be continued next meeting.
Next meeting topic will be the continuation of zoning map discussion.
B, AB-3, and AR-3 districts to be discussed.
