Correspondence received via fax from law firm representing Mombaccus Excavating. Content was summarized and discussed. David O’Halloran to send a brief response thanking them for their comments but detailing that the Task Force is not taking public comments at this time as we are only in the beginnings of our discussions and a draft has not been formalized. Mike Baden to explore with the Supervisor’s office to obtain a copy of a Natural Resources map referenced in the fax.
Discussion:
Jeff Davis e-mail was discussed and no action was taken but this will be taken up further when the NR district is mapped.
Rob Rominger brought up the possibility of adding back the old MD district (removed from schedule at a previous meeting). Reasons were given as a way to recognize areas that have higher density of housing but are not really part of hamlet areas. To be taken up at a later time.
Map discussion began with looking at the H (Hamlet) districts on the draft map.
Accord area was addressed first. Discussion centered on the large tracts along Granite Rd. Discussion was that one of these parcels is an abandoned quarry and would it really fit Hamlet area. Consensus was to include these large parcels as potential areas of expansion. Also extended and included more areas along Stony Kill Rd. and Granite Rd. Parcels on the West side of Route 209 changed to AB-3 District.
Kerhonkson area was discussed next. Left as mapped.
Area up Mettacahonts Rd. discussed next. Agreed Hamlet District is incorrect for this area. To be revisited later as possible R-1 properties.
Same discussion for Alligerville H District. Agreed Hamlet District is incorrect for this area. Also to be revisited later as possible R-1.
Hamlet Schedule of Uses discussed with Storage Units deleted and gasoline sales added as SUP.
Discussion continued regarding R-1 District as being reinstituted. Consensus agreed to add. Schedule of Use for this district were established.
A general note was made to revisit the schedule of uses in all districts after addressing the mapping of districts. A number of items have been notated to merit further definition, discussion and review when the text of the document and definitions are discussed.
Next meeting topic will be the continuation of zoning map discussion. R-1, B, AB-3, and AR-3 districts to be discussed. The current proposed map from the previous Task Force will be the starting point for discussions
Meeting was adjourned at 9:00 PM
